Ok, so Im about a month into the swap and awaiting my motor mounts to arrive since the stock 91 mounts decided to split. I opted for the solid mounts as they were a little less than the stockers and provide more response and more "feel" of the car. The intercooler has been roughly mounted(post pic in a few) and all that is left to do is swap out the mounts on the 87 turbo motor and drop it in. Also going in is the five speed that came with the 87 motor. I have a lot to do this weekend and hope to fire it up sometime late saturday night. I do have to still go through the wiring as I am making a hybrid 87/91 harness. I have figured out all the wiring issues(mainly plug variances) and believe that part should be pretty straight foward. The only major things left to do are to bleed the clutch master cylinder, hook up all the different sensors throughout the engine bay, and fab and route the intercooler pipes(I am using a huge FMIC). The interior mods for the five speed swap are complete as is the switching out of the tachometers. I have deleted the cruise control, power steering and the a/c was deleted when I wrecked the car about a year and a half ago. Oh, and the titan motorsports downpipe and test pipe are going in as well. Hopefully all goes well this weekend as I have my very dependable and knowledgeable buddy helping out. Look foward to being turbo after three years of ownership. This has been in the cards for sometime and finally I am about to achieve it. Thanks for everyone's support on here and Im sure I will need more as I start really upgrading this thing in the coming months. Thank you.
