ECU/Harness

This may be covered somewhere else, but I havn't found it, and it won't hurt to have it floating around again.

I have an 89 NA. I have all the parts to swap in a GTE, except the engine wiring harness.

I bought a 92 ECU (M/T, Turbo).

I'm looking at buying a Harness that LOOKS like it fits perfectly (I'll post pics of both in a second)


1: Will this harness and this ECU work together?

2: Will this combo from a 92 work with my 89 CHASSIS, if not, what do I have to change.

3: Will this combo from a 92 work with my engine, regardless of the year of the engine? (some sensor swapping will be nessesary)

it will work for sure, i think 89-92 is the same ecu and plugs, as long as u have a 92's it will fit on ur 89 chassi for sure, shouldn't be a problem with anything else everything is a plug and play, as long as it'a a 7m-gte ur good to go
