ecu code question

I have an 87 turbo 5spd. Changed wiring harness using the same harness car wont start so i jumped the ecu and the engine light just keeps blinking with no apperant code doesn't stop at all... any ideas?????

that means there are no codes. it should do that when your car is running properly.
