just wondering if anyone has ever used it or had experience with the quality, the fittings dont look so beautiful. Also i was wondering if the 7m and the 1jz use different oil filters or relocation adapters. thanks a lot

Setrab oil cooler clone of unknown quality. Looks like the adapters are an Earls or Canton clone...same comment on quality. To use the lines you need to know the length and where you are going to mount the cooler.

If you can find a place to mount it, then it can be used. It isn't car specific, it's just a cooler. It looks pretty big though. You may can fit it in between the intercooler and radiator. I don't know if that will cause your radiator to lose any of it's cooling capabilities or not. I guess the air will still go through the cooler and onto the radiator so you should be alright.

ok so i bought it and it finally got it in the mail, the quality of the oil cooler seems very good. The adapters, not so good, there are a few metal shavings still attached from production and the o-rings dont fit that well. Also, i have no idea what these small 2 holes on the adapter are for, help me out? .....

Fittings like that are the same restriction as 10' of hose...in this case, maybe worse. The hose *should* be a -8 size at minimum.

Think about it...what would happen with an open hole in the main oil channel running the length of the block (that feed the bearings)?

Leave the oil pressure sensor on the block, plug the hole in the adapter (or install an aftermarket one there, but still leave the sensor in the block).

You're going to have to plug those holes in the adapter anyway if not used...
