By ebay I take it you mean the cheap ones? As you can buy brand names off ebay. I have no experiance with them but from what I've seen and heard the diaphragms tend to burst (which isn't a good thing) could end up with an engine fire in the worst case scenario.

I had one and had fuel pressure problems, not enough pressure at boost, hard to adjust, pulsation in the fuel line and then the diaphram burst and sprayed fuel all over the intake manifold. I would say at best they are a chrome piece for a show car that would never get started and at worst a death trap. I am lucky my engine bay never cought fire.

I've only had one experience with one, it wasn't on my car but a friend's VR-4 3000GT.

I believe it was an OBX unit.

Didn't control fuel pressure at all, the adjustment screw did nothing.

I bought a chrome one years ago off ebay for around $100. Build quality is good and the fittings and clamps are actually much nicer than what the current kits on ebay offer.

I never ended up using it for fear of what others have already stated. I went with an Aeromotive setup instead. That chrome ebay AFPR kit is just sitting in the box at my garage with a healthy layer off dust accumulating on it.

Another case of money well spent :3d_frown:

Just ordered the OBX replica last week. It is an exact replica of the Aeromotive 13109 but it was not really any cheaper I just did it for the colors....I think I am getting too picky!

I will let you know how it looks when I get it!

But it should compliment my scheme including black fittings and Startlite hoses!

Thanks,
Seth
