Dunno, I was under the impression that a couple of 2JZ-GTE motors came stock with an FFIM, that is a front facing intake manifold. Come to think of it, I guess all of them did.

The 2JZ-GE did not.

If you don't have that much coin, why not use the stocker? Something is missing from this discussion, making it make absalutely no sense.

How much HP are you running? The stock one is good to 500whp+. I've seen some guys running over 1000 on the stock one.

The general consensus on sf (from what I have read) is that unless you are over 900whp or have a show car, you should stick with the stocker.

Also consider that the chinese knock-offs of the GReddy cast oil pans for the Nissans,
have a HUGE problem with:
Porus castings that leak.
Holes that are not lined up correctly,
Machined surfaces that are not flat.

IMO, $300 is about $295 too much for that type of problem............

I really don't get this. The OEM is more than adequate. If it's the shiny bling you like, then get your stock one polished ??? If its the shape/design you like, then wutever it's your car but I will :thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown everytime I hear or see about it because it really is pointless.

Not to mention that buying knockoffs destroys the tuner market. Why do you think trust co jpn went bankrupt?

Overpriced, antiquated and laggy turbo setups that not many people wanted to shell out the cash for? I know that if I am going to pay 6k for a 67mm turbo setup, it better be at least be top of the line technology.

But this is not what the thread is about.

Like I said earlier, stock manifold unless you are going to push a shit ton of whp or want a show car.

actually the stock one is good for wayyyy more than that.

at 2K9 jessica barton made 1100whp with the stock intake manifold.
