hey guys i just got my set of eagles h-beams in today with arp 2000 series bolts. With the sheet they gave me it says the torque specs at 75 pounds to stretch the bolt .0064-.0068 inches. This is just as much as i torqued my main bolts down and it doesnt seem right at all when the tsrm states that it should be in the 40s. What did u guys torque it to with the moly lube?

also they dont have connecting rod bushings, are you supposed to use new toyota ones or just use it as is?

when using arp bolts use their recommended torque as the bolts are designed to handle the stress. i had a stock head gasket pushing 12psi(14psi short burst peaks) with arp head bolts. no blown gasket, rings gave out.

You're are not looking at the torque sheet right. If I remember right its 45 ft lbs. It's the third spec from the bottom on the instruction sheet for 3/8 ARP 2000. 75 ft lbs is for 7/16 cap screws. My Eagles have bushings in them. They should come ready to run.

no it doesnt bind or anything the pin fits in the rod smoothly but the bushing looks like its part of the rod it self because theres casting marks on it ill try to take a pic and show everyone what i mean tommorrow.

Also, the bolts are really tight in there and i read that it is a must to get the rods resized after removing the bolts, this is talking about after use right, or do i really need to resize the rods even though their brand new.
