E Brakes

I took my rear brake assembly to check for some noise and and notice that the strip on the brake shoes had fallen off on all 4 shoes.So my question is is thier anywhere other than the dealer that carrys the brake shoes.
Also is there any upgrade or replacement for the drum style e brake to make it like a regular disk style e brake .

I paid $20 a piece for them through the dealer, so I'd say half of that plus shipping is fair.
