Dyno'd my car today

Got a chance to dyno my car today at Bisimoto Engineering.

This was done on a Dynapack dyno.


I'm pretty happy with the numbers. Mods are 3in turbo back, intake, Mine's ECU, no boost controller.

btw, it says flywheel but it's actual wheel hp so don't get confused.

I was looking at the stock 1J ratings and a bone stock 1J is listed to make peak power at 6200 and peak torque at 4800. My car made peak power earlier and peak torque later by a few hundred RPM. I would have expected them to move in the same direction instead of one going one way and the other the other way...

Good numbers, one problem though, SAE correction is not soppost to be used on forced induction engines and so the true numbers are a bit lower then that.

Yep, good state of tune. Factory 7M's run close to 10:1 under boost. Your ECU leaned it out near 11.5:1, for a nice gain.

The increased heat decreases the spool time also.

If you get a 3" free flowing exhaust like me, you'll boost about 13-14 PSI and the 1J will love you for it.

um, I think you missed the part where I said I have full 3 inch exhaust already.

you're hitting higher boost because your wastegates are getting tired.

On a cool night, my car will spike up to 13-15 too.

torque starts falling off at 5300, power doesn't fall off till ~ 6300-6400 rpm..

12.2 isn't bad, it is a little lean for my liking, but for the low hp, shouldn't have a problem..
