Dyno Day yesterday

Well the night before the dyno day(yesterday) i decided to turn the boost up on the ct26, to about 14-15 pounds ran AMAZING that night after some tuning. so i decided to throw it up on the dyno and find out what was what. first pull only managed 236whp with 269 torque, im like wtf? second run only managed 241 with about 270torque. im dumbfounded since my old red 89 with just a 3" straight pipe and a boost controller made almost 300 to the wheels.... so they start the third run, and thats when it happened. as soon as he started spoolin it up. the turbo began to sound like a Fire truck siren. So basically the dyno killed my turbo lol. but as much as this sucks now i have more of an excuse to put on my bwd gm3 soo i babied it home and its gonna sit there for a little while. needless to say, i am now on the hunt for a t4 mani and wastegate

Every one must have had dyno day yesterday. We did also

You only making 240 hp on the ct26 at 14-15 lbs, I think you had something else wrong before hand. Last year I made 288 hp and 308 tq on the ct26 at 11 lbs.

turbo was unefficient, but yea idk, i actually looked at the play today, and it was retarded in and out. yea idk it still needed tuned horribly. so i blame that as well. but yea i almost fell over when it only made 240 since my old 89 pulled 295 and 350trq at 12 psi hitting cut, lol
