well i thought i'll share went to vegas as usual, on the dyno morning everything started bad as i can not find race gas and after 45 minutes of driving around deicided to go to watch dyno. after i arived someone said that guy next door had 55 galon drum of 113 octane, so i persuaded him into selling me some (@ $7 a galon).

anyways set the boost controler (evc ez) quick in the parking lot to 1.3 bar hoping to get more in 4th gear and went to dyno. did not expected much as couple months ago i dynoed 400hp @ 19 psi and here was 2500 feet elevation and very hot.

anyways fist pull 468.87HP / 473.42 TQ max boost was 1.44 bar
second pull 478.42HP / 481.94TQ max boost was 1.5 bar (22.08 psi)
(btw that was highest hp of all noninvitation cars inluding mk2s and mk4s)

well to tell you the truth i wa preaty happy with the numbers concidering the mods:

7mgte/stock bottom/stock head (hks 1.2 mhg & arp's)/stock intake manifold/stock exhaust manifold with adapter for t04 turbo/ maft / 550cc/ walbro/ spearco drop in ic/ custom ic pipes 2.5-3"/ safc2/ stock ECU.

after that went to the track left same boost, and my clutch strted slipping all the way thru so was runing horible times (13's) however got to run WOTM drag mk4 at some point and lost just by reaction (i ran 13.77 he got 13.79) even though i messed up and i had sliping clutch it was fun to run bizilion dollar mk4 side to side.

now some words for people who made this happen.

BIG THANKS to john/luvmysilversupra for helping get the car ready,
bert and mikeG for plugs, matonedime for company and advice, other bas/nor cal for mutual support, zazzn for nice turbo, ridah fore awesome drive home,

good stuff! one question though. i'm having a hard time believing ANY wotm sponsored mkiv is running 13's...

it also doesn't help that i can't dl your video since i'm on stupid webtv - not knocking you, just doesn't sound right. guy must not have been able to drive for beans.

Ken, you have Web TV? You DO know its 2005 right? LOL!

Actually the WOTM car bogged hard off the line, and I did see a puff of smoke from it down the track... So who knows...

Congrats Ziggy, very nice numbers and your car does sound badass on the dyno.

Nice job in the race against the WOTM car as well, Vegas looked like so much fun. I wish I could have made it, oh well next year.

What kind of jackass was driving that WOTM supra?

wotm white guy driver, i think it was karma as he was looking down on me before race. anyways track was very sticky and lots of high hp cars were boging out of the line and breaking stuff. on the side not i would have probably ran faster times if i lowered the boost as at home i was runing constant 13.1-13.2 on drag radials and 14psi.

another factor is i suck at drag racing (been to track like 10 times total) and tracks around here is quite far and gay as well.

but as you all know i can make up bilion exuses, but i dont care as i had a great time there. also sliping clutch was a good thing as well as i am preaty sure i would have broken something else if it was capable of holding (i still have my stock trany/diff/driveshaft 200000 miles ++ on all) so i drove to vegas had fun and made back safely what else can you ask

Ziggy: Not sure if it was the mic on the camera but man your car has a unique note as it's spooling on the rollers!

Thanks for the vids!

my car was on stock exhaust, with cut out open. sp63 + cut out sounds like big bad truck and you can hear the turbo even in vacuum. the mic could not handle the job as video is taken with my camera not camcorder.

I find your numbers incredibly hard to believe...I have that almost exactly (stock bottom, stock head (hks 1.2 mhg), stock intake manifold, stock exhaust manifold with adapter for t04 turbo and external wastegate, maft, custom ic pipes 3", stock ECU) and the only things that are different are that you have fuel mods and a new IC. I know I was making decent freakin power, but subtract 100 HP from fuel mods and 20 from IC relatively...thats still 350rwhp, which is what I wanted to do on an upgraded setup.

Kickass dude! Nice job
