Alright so can we just weld up our stock trailing arms to be able to take the force of doing a couple 1/4 miles???

most the aftermarket ones are around 300 bucks can i just take it off and weld some braces on it?

anyone have any pics of theres if they have done this?

*edit* i was looking throught the tsrm and couldnt find removal of the trailing arms... they are in the rear right? and what is the name of them in the tsrm?

Al: It can and has been done! The only problem is that you'd have to replace the bushings because that's part of the problem on the stock ones, and also having some chromoly sectioned, then welded over the stock arm, you'd be looking at something comparable to the price of what they would charge for a pair of these....

You decide what you want to do, but if it were me, the choice is clear as day.

Anyone has direct experience with these? I'd like to ask what changes, if any were felt in the handling, traction, etc with the car. Thx.
I run the Lipp arms and my car when it was NA had the worst axle hop I've ever felt and this just got worse the more power I added, now with the SS arms 0 hop none nothing nada! Car handles like it's on rails but that's the package and not just the arms!

Expensive but in my opinion well worth it.

LIPP SS lower arms.

My friend has the A1 rear arms ( not on the car yet, the car is taken apart LMAO)...They are INCREDIBLY LIGHT and adjustable too!

I am going to get some for myself.

They reduce wheel hop almost to make it NON-EXISTANT. Puts all that power to the ground!

Basically its stiffer and its lighter...so the overall weight of the suspesion is drastically reduced which means less "bouncback" or "rebound" which kind of slides to the term "wheel hop".

Either way, the A1 racing arms are an incredible deal!

Have any of the people that have run any of these noticed any driveability changes running either of these? More harshness or anything like that?

The roads are quite rough where I live (winter, plows, and such), so I'm trying to avoid suspension mods that make the car less pleasant to drive over such terrain.

FWIW I have the SupraSport trac arms too... I just figured, he's kind of on a budget (or so he made it seem) and the A1 are fully adjustable AND cheap.

If I were on a budget, I'd probably go with Randy's (BIC) option.
