If using 80% duty cycle is recommended maximum, what would be the lowed duty cycle you could have? I want to reach between 600 and 700 hp so using 1000cc injectors seem to be right (using 80% maxmium duty cycle as a ceiling) but is there a point where the injector is too big to allow the engine to idle correctly?

Too big of an injector will cause problems.

6-700hp is takes some work on the 7m.

Id start with 680cc or so and when you run out of fuel them sell those and get bigger ones.

I come from a land down under
When I ran 1000cc RC in full sequential on the 7M I had to drop base fuel pressure to get enough pulse width for a stable idle (there's a fine line if you drop pressure too much the fuel doesn't atomise and you get crap idle again), so yes it can cause an issue with Large injectors down low.

Get ID1000 injectors.

Each set is flow matched.

The have a great spray pattern. +/- 5 Degrees

They can run high fuel pressure and still have great idle. It's why they are so popular with big HP guys. Their tunability is amazing. Injector Dynamics actually recommends running the highest fuel pressure possible that your system can handle.

I have seen these things handle 80 PSI without any issue.
