OS: Vista, although the problem occured on XP as well
Monitors : HP w2408h (Primary), Acer x221w (Secondary)
HP Is running off the DVI port, secondary is running off the VGA port
problem:
Once the monitors go to sleep (20 minutes or something) only the secondary will wake up. I have to do a few different things to get the primary to wake up. Win Key + L will generally make the primary wake up then I log back in.
Sometimes that doesn't wake the primary monitor up so I have to do Ctrl Alt Del and press the arrow key down once then press enter. That switches the user account, waking up the primary monitor.
Sometimes the primary will wake up on its own like it should, very rarely though.
Anyway to fix this annoying problem?

Just shut off the sleep mode on both monitors - physically push the button to shut them off when you finish
