if you are thinking about the one pipe/muffler exiting on opposite sides of the rear bumper, i think its a little more trouble than its worth. you would have to route it around the gas tank. i have seen it done on a european supra before and lamarossa had something akin to a dual exhaust on his car. it would just be a piping nightmare that would yeild no real gains and would in my opinion be a little funny looking.

Um, you have the 1g-gte right? That would be 7 inch total exhaust for 2 liter engine. We have found that even 4 inch is sufficient for our 3 liter engines. So if your doing it for performance then it's a lot more work for no gain. If you're doing this for something original, I think you will find that dual 3.5 inch pipes under your car is damn near impossible to fit, especially if you lower your car any. But hey if your ambitious enough and have the money then go for it.

I wouldn't mind a setup where there was actually a single pipe running to the back, then splitting off to each side, it's not really any different than the stock setup with a dual tip muffler, it's just each tip is on an opposite side of the car.

I wouldn't bother making it happen, but it could look nice, and I don't get people who put the idea down as stupid, etc, when it's basically exactly how stock was, and how the HKS setup is (sport and turbo).

theres a user on this forum "empera" that has a setup like grim is talking about, i've seen the car in person, it looks sweet, apex makes a system like that to with dual mini N1 style mufflers next to one and other with a nice angle and everything, i've never seen the system for the supra though, i know a couple of people with FD rx-7's with it though

well the apex one is a cat back system that you can actually buy, i dont think they make it for us supra's though unfortinately, but the kit that empera has was made for the supra, i think its an old greddy/trust system that he has

I saw a MKIII exhaust that was two 2.5 in pipes running side by side from the cat back. I think Blitz made it a long time ago. It had a resonator on each pipe with no actual muffler or anything. it was pretty sweet.
