driving a TRANSFORMER!!!!

ok my radio in my car turns itself on and plays music by itself when there is no key in the car and no person in the car. it does it all by itself. and turns itself off by itself

does anyone have any ideas as to why this happens????
if not im just going to assume im driving a transformer and call it a day LOL

The ign power wire on the radio must be crossing with the constant power wire IMO.

Since the car is DC no transformer can be involved. (A little electrical humor there...very little.)

its weird tho cause it phases in and out randomly and the clock lights up as well

whats sad is that before this started my friends had already named the car christine lol

Way back I had a 1972 Monaro Coupe that was Bright Red and very very "Christine" windows would go up/down, wipers on/off, radio would go off now and again it'd lose ALL electricity for no reason, gave it to my Sis to drive and she had 0 issues with it....

ok so now im a bit scared lol
tonight the radio cut on and off and the amp with it but the amp started smoking and blew an internal component not sure what it was but it lit on fire

the strange thing is that the sub still works and so does the amp
im trying to really figure out what could randomly cause an electrical surge like that
