Looking at 1jzgte with full uncut harness and r154 attached to it.
I have a 89 NA Targa Supra

Is the clutch kit on that set up good for how much HP?

If the engine is installed properly, will I still have CC, A/C, Heat, TEMS?

I am going to try to get the mk3 supra turbo's 3.73 LSD, should I get a driveshaft made for it to? I don't see a full 2pc turbo supra shaft. Would the LSD also cause need for a new wheel axel?

Does the r154 hook right up to the drive shaft if I didn't change the Diff?

You need the front half of a r154 ds.

If the wiring is done right wverythig will work.

I would replace te clutch with a new one while it's out.

Okay, r154 clutch isn't that great then? Also the throttle body is in a different location in the 1jz, the CC apparatus is basically right infront of the driver under the hood and both cables run from it to the throttle body. Would they need to be cut or just move em over?

Trying to think of anything else I need for the swap. The 1j is from another mk3 supra, includes engine harness and ecu and everything attached to the engine. I know I"ll need to set up an intercooler. Oil cooler? Is that attached to the body or engine in the 1j?

It's fine but I wouldn't trust some used old clutch that who know what's happened to it.

Think cruise just needs to be hooked up. Not too sure as I ripped mine out years ago.

Oil cooler is coolant cooled and is where the oil filter goes. It's better to ditch it and get a full flow t stat controlled system but it can be a little expensive when using good parts.

Intercooler and pipes will need to be done differently then 7m.

Want to. Seems it's going to cost a lot more. We'll see what my dad says, he's funding most of this haha. Found a 1jz on craigs with r154 for $2k. And a 7mgte w/r154 100k miles for $700.

If you mix driveshaft parts from different shafts the whole thing will have to be balanced as a unit from a driveline shop. That could get costly.

. Each part of the shaft has balance weights. He will be fine. Your also not supposed to turn any parts either but you will never know the difference with a good shaft.
