The orange light is for tail light faliure, but the little yellow control box under your drivers side tail light is the sensor and they have a tendency to go bad, but that doesnt have anything to do with your battery. Have you tried a new battery? or possibly your not pushing the "lock" button when you turn the key to the left so it leaves your battery on and that could be why the light is staying on.

I was having the same problem with my two supras. Different reasons. My 91 has an amp and the people that wired it, wired it directly to the battery. If I drive my car every day or every other day it isn't a problem, but if I don't drive it for a few days the battery will be weak.
My wife's 89 ran down also, because her light in the hatch was on and we didn't know it. We had the cover pulled over the back so you couldn't see the light, but after a couple of days that ran the battery down. May not help you, but it's all I can offer. Good luck.

Car off, key out of ignition. Put a test light between the + battery post and the terminal, (which you removed from the battery).
Turn off inside dome light.
If the testlight is on, go inside car and start removing fuses until the testlight goes out. Read what that fuse controls, then track it down from there.
