Ok so first is, where and what will work for this swap, its an 87 NA chassis(prolly doesn't matter) and a 2jzgte is going into it, I'm keeping the twins on it, but was wondering if there is a DP that I could just bolt right up to it, and yes I have searched. Reason is, I live in BFE and I really don't trust the muffler shops around here.

Ok as for the Drive Shaft, I'm going to be using an R154 and this will be mounting up to the LSD diff on the NA. I called Shaft masters and they said to measure the length between the cup on the 154 to the face on the diff. My problem is, I really don't want to drop in the engine/tranny and measure it and then have to unmount it to put the DS in. Would or should it be possible just to order the standard length they have on their site and bolt it up? Or are there a lot of factors that will come into play with the length of it? Or my other option, which I really don't because of how long it might take to get to me and age/wear on a used drive shaft from someone here? Would it mount right up?

The best way is going to be, drop the engine in and make the measurements. You might want to check with Shaftmaster's again...iirc you measure from the tranny seal to the face on the differential flange. The length has to be correct to fully engage the tranny output spline.

Yea they said from the seal/cup front, to the face of the diff. flange.

If your useing a r154 trans, the standard 5 speed turbo drive shaft should fit just fine

Getting one from someone used is a last resort, I really don't want to put a used DS on here.

Do it right the first time.

Check with some of the MKIV guys on this, but IIRC, the jdm and usdm downpipes are the same. If they are, then the jza80 dp should fit, but will require a mp to connect it to a a70 cat back
