Door locks acting weird?

Every once in awhile when i go to get out of my car, open the door and lock the doors using the power door locks on the inside the doors will lock then quickly unlock themselves. It will lock fine if i close the door and use the key. My lights were off, e brake was on.. im just a little confused it only does it sometimes.:1zhelp:

It will unlock the doors if it thinks there is still a key in the ignition and you try to lock the doors with one of the doors open. It's to prevent you from locking your keys in the car.

hmm thats strange because my keys were out of the ignition.. what do you think the problem would be?

The contact in the ignition switch that 'thinks' the key is still in there. Try in/outing it a few times to see if makes a difference. Sprays into the cylinder won't help because the problem will be in the electrical switch, not the lock portion.
