My friend does it... wakes up at 4 in the AM to go shop.

is it really worth it? i'd like more than one opinion before i relinquish my sleep-in time. They give out prizes to the first given amount of shoppers in the store right? cheezy prizes or good ones? I'm mostly thinking bigger places like Sears or Radio Shack or Game Stop...corporates. I dont know if smaller companies bother? Or if it's only in a larger mall? (for example would any radio shack do this or just the ones in malls do it?)

Just wonderin if i could snap up a few neat prizes or if i should save my sleep and gas for another day.:naughty:

we did it last year in cabazon. me, my sister, and my brother in law went to cabazon after thanksgiving dinner was all settled and won some extra cash at morongo and went shopping at cabazon when it opened. wow, that was an awesome time. don't think we'll be doing that tonight though.

the day after thanksgiving sale is the biggest sale of the year. this is when you should get all your christmas shopping done because shit is cheaper. that or you can always ask a crackhead. dead serious about that one.

I work at best buy... I get to close... have for the last 3 years.. but simply it is retarded... you get pieces of shit for dirt cheap... $229 laptop that is a PoS... I don't know... I went by my store yesterday at 6 PM.. already had like 30 ppl camped out... my time is too valuable to want cheap shit for cheaper then it already is...

best buy worker here and doorbusters are simply cheap shit discounted to be extra cheap in order to entice customers to come in and spend money on the stuff we make money on.

Its also for customer loyalty. They hope our "huge" sales keep people interested in our store.

There's lots of great products FS at good prices. I don't see anything silly or gay about it.

i think black friday is a waist of time but i thin k that people who are really big into gift givin well. they can be alll about it, but i wouldn't do it for the prizes.. i would do it for a deal.. and usualy a deal you wouldn't have to be there till atleast 9 to get i would think??

A few of my friends work at a Fry's and they'll be pulling 12+hr. shifts today starting right about... now. Don't get me wrong or anything cause I pull 12hr. shifts all the time at work, but at my own pace. I wouldn't be able to take dealing with "the mob" for more than a few.
