Lakewood -- An 18-year-old Westlake man visiting his girlfriend in Lakewood died Tuesday evening after falling from an 11th-floor balcony at the Envoy Condominiums on Lake Avenue at Hird Avenue.

About 9:25 p.m., Adawi Najjar was hanging onto the balcony railing doing pull-ups, Capt. Edward Hassing said. He lost his grip and dropped, landing face down in a paved parking lot.

The Cuyahoga County coroner will examine the body and rule whether the death was accidental.

He was traveling approx 60 mph onto his face.
Didn't hurt for long at least.

Seriously though, it's a good thing he died. Any self-respecting friends of his would never be able to let him live that down. Come on, being so bad at pull-ups that you fall eleven floors, lol. You'd best be pretty confident in your pull-up skills if you're even going to attempt that.

He was all up on that there failboat.
