The master of speaking without saying anything.
I have the KDS-R60XBR2.
Can't really say much of anything bad about it.
Regular dvds through the hdmi hookup look amazing you can hook up the pc through a vga cable or hdmi input since there are 2 of those.
I was playing Bioshock and Portal on it yesterday, ran Portal at 1080 for a few minutes and it was beautiful, killed my compy playing it at that res tho. lol
Sound is very good compared to a lot of tv's I've heard treble is clean and the bass is actually pretty nice considering we don't have a system hooked up to it.

I guess my only beef is if you don't have HD tv channels the picture is stretched but other than that I love it.

If you can I'd find a store that will let you hook up a game system or dvd player to the tv's in store.

XBR4 FTW. Actually XBR-anything FTW. :)

Somy still makes a great TV. May want to consider the warranty. Over the summer I dealt with a handful of people at work who had problems with their sony lcd's AFTER the first year.

got myself the samsung 5271f. its absolutely mazing. after months of research and reading reviews, comparing side by side on the sony and the samsung. samsung won overall. better picture with 120hz processing, good color and stylish. screen brightness was a big thing too.

go with the samsung. you will not be diappointed.
