I could only order the 2j's IAC valve's rubber grommet and diaphram from Toyota. The diaphram appears to sit flush, but the grommet that sits on top of it was about 2mm too tall. After installation, I can hear air pushing out of the valve when I open the throttle body. I ground down the grommet to sit flush, but it didn't help. Anyone know what's causing it not to seal? Is it because the 1j and 2j IAC components are not interchangeable?
