do you need to remove throttle body to check tps on 1jz

i have been looking all day and cant find anyt thing on the subject needing to removing it.

do i leave it on the the throttle body and then adjust it if it needs it while its on there????

only thing i can find is using the tsrm for the 7mgte.....to check it, are they the same tps

Was going to say you should be able to do it on the car because of the way the manifold is compared to the 7M that has crap in the way and is easier to remove from the engine.

Map sensor, can't tell you...

jono help me out in my other thread, test green wire signal from map and brown is ground to map, test with key off and then with engine running. mine was 2.6 key on and 1.6 with engine running. then i unplugged the map sensor and it wanted to die and idle was very ruff. plugged it back in and idle was good. my map sensor is working....
