do i need to add a map sensor

i put a 7mgte in my NA 89 supra. do i need to add a map sensor to the NA wireing harness or will it run fine without it.

7mgte does not use MAP from factory. It has an Air Flow meter , and you may want ot use that if you have no way of eliminating the AFM -

You need the GTE electronics. All of them.

um if u read closer it says 89 that would be a mk3 body.

only reason to add a map sensor is if your takigout the afm of going with somthing along the line of a maft pro or other ype of piggyback/stand alone.

im not that far myself yet, but thats what research tells me.
