Early 7MGE injectors were yellow, Late 7MGE injectors 91+ are green and don't use a injector resistor, All GTE injectors are Black.. You have N/A injectors

yep you got the wrong injectors.

Stock 7MGE Injector:
Code Number: 23250-70040 Yellow Tip
Overall Length: 2.810"
Injector Tip Length: .260"
Injector Inlet Length: .614"
Injector Tip Diameter: .370"
Injector Inlet Diameter: .416"
Injector Opening:4
Injector Connector: Type F
Flow Rate: 295 cc/min Yellow Tip
Impedance: High 13.8 ohm

the gte has 440 cc/min stock

Who would do such a injectors replacement? That's so stupid because not just the injectors, you have to modify the clips also. If you're looking for a set of 440cc, make sure you get gte clips also.

no it wasnt a GE-T... the block has all the oil lines and the oil squirters under the pistons... that sucks though... But i have to break the motor in anyways so im not gunna be hitting it, i guess ill have to wait for some 550's now. lol

Or MAYBE they're from another car. What color were the Evo 8/9 injectors? Someone mentioned the color the other day for those.

the clips all fit fine... maybe its cause it an 87? IDK why the PO would put those in...

could be a parts store mix up, alot of times the clerk enters the engine as the non-turbo model. how does it run on the injectors? they could be re-built, just wrong casing color???

440s are bigger and all 440s are black through all the years. N/a injectors are yellow or green like already stated. So you ahve something like 315's or something.

Your car no matter what the case will not be getting enough fuel, the injectors are made to only open, squirt the proper measured amount of fuel(440), and close. Your injectors (315) are to small to properly support a 7MGTE. Do not run them, of you'll have one or more pistons with holes in them.

Detonation is not fun!
