Hi Everyone! A friend of mine came over this evening and his car was running like cah cah. It is a stock 87 7MGTE.

When I unplugged the AFM, the idle smoothed out considerably. Also, the car will not rev passed 4k while under load.

He wasn't able to stay long; but, he is coming back over this Friday. I have a few spare AFM's to try.

I pulled codes and got these:
12
21
34
52

My question is, do these have to be fixed in a certain order? Goofey question maybe; but, I don't know if there is some sort of register that the ECU has that requires they be cleared in a certain order.

Thanks...

Oh, and of course any ideas are welcome.

You do not have to fix them in order. They are listed in numerical order when you check the codes..........not necessarily in order of importance.
