Divorced provides more power, as proven by back to back dynos with the same car and different downpipes.

Technically it wouldn't be legal since you're dumping exhaust gases directly into the atmosphere similar to an external wastegate. Wastegates/atmospheric dumped downpipes are pretty loud, it's not a deep sound, it's more of blatty "waaaah" when they vent. Check out youtube and you'll see what I mean.

I just recently installed my BIC divorced down pipe (mines not rerouted) and I love the way the car sounds now. My car is only loud when I go WOT. I want to make a video of how the car sounds at idle and WOT, I might be doing that tomorrow.

I personally like the sound of my open divorced downpipe. But that's just me. And trust me, cops are attracted to the noise if you push it at all in town. Never been nailed, but been followed several times for a fair ways becausI went WOT in 1st

one doesn't exist for stock twins......

I've seen one for a 1JZ with stock twins. It was made for a rhd chaser, so I don't think it would fit in a supra engine bay. It was coming from Australia IIRC.

I can't believe you can get away with that. I get followed too and my car is quiet and sounds stock. Anything even close to WOT will get me a ticket, I've learned that several times.

I've been running open DDP for a while too, but mine is quiet most of the time.. :icon_bigg

Mine is quite to but I have yet had any trouble with cops. They have driven around me, behind me, everywhere but have yet to even hint about pulling me over.

There is a SIGNIFICANT difference between driving in Kentucky and driving in California.

Yeah, that's true. California is a lot harsher (I have seen it on "True Life: I'm a street racer" lol). I just know that my town cops can be the biggest thorn in your side. The metro police are a lot nicer. Plus I guess I don't need to worry about emission.
