I tried to bend the tube to fit fit around manifold, but the actual dip stick wouldnt fit through the tight bends. What should I do?

Hmmm...Looks like he didn't incorporate the dipstick tube into his design..

You might just have to get a custom dipstick with the flexible SS hose as the tube to make it work. It still looks like it would be a pretty hard angle so that might not work either. You might have to completely remove that tube that goes through the block to make it work.

I read dip stick troubles and thought differently... dammit, supposed to know better then touch those sticky girls.....

I'd ditch that setup as it dont work and get something better.

Just an idea, but if you place the dipstick in the tube, and mark it where it exits the tube, add measurement of the depth of the recess in the block tube, and mark it accordingly, then you should be able to put the dipstick in the block tube as far as the final mark, and achieve the correct depth for reading oil level. Might be easier than replacing the manifold, and could easily be rigged up with a handle and stopper, so you could leave it there permanently. Again, just a thought.
