So when I noticed my gauge lights weren't working, I pulled out the dimmer switch.
There are 3 wires that go to it,
one for ground, one for 12v, one for suppy(goes to gauges)
I found that the 12v wire was bad so I respliced it in the harness with another 12v source, the ground was bad also, so I regrounded it
After doing that I wired the 3 back up to a rocker switch and it worked, so I spliced the 3 pin dimmer connector back into the 3 wires, and plugged the dimmer switch back in.
With it rewired, the dimmer switch gauge lights still didn't come on.
Then, I figured the switch was bad so I replaced it with a different one, yet still that didn't fix the problem.
Any ideas anyone?
Just 2 bad dimmer switches in a roll? lol
