is there a difference in the rears of a turbo and non turbo supra..i know the gearing will be diff but do they both have lsd(i know the turbo dose, but idk about non turbo)
thanks

im looking to go the whole 2jz route, and when i do dose the r154 go well with the 4.3? If not im guessing the swap to a 3.74(turbo rear?) isnt too difficult

Blackfin said:R154 will work fine with any of the differentials. Chose the differential ratio that suits your ambitions. If your ambition is fast times on the strip or just to spin wheels in first, second and maybe third, then the higher ratio (4.3:1) may help you do that. If your ambition is absolute top speed or better fuel efficiency on the highway then go with the with the lower ratio. The reason the na cars have the 4:3 is because the higher ratio made the car with the less powerful engine more responsive at the expense of top end speed. With a properly built 2jz, you will not have that problem.

Stay away from the 1JZ diff's (can't remember the name of them at the moment, but they are 4.10's) if you plan on making large power and hard launches, they tend to shit themselves.
