so i am wondering if there a differnce between a supra 2jz and aristo..

supra 2jzs are dry sump, forged internals, along with a super alloy block thats extremely strong but yet weights only 14 lbs. They also have bigger turbos (capable of near 1000whp with just 14 psi of boost and spool at 3000rpms).

but really the difference between a jdm supra 2jz and an aristo 2jz is the oil pan pretty much (besides the obvious different harness).

I've heard the cams are smaller also for JDM's and smaller injectors, ceramic turbo rather than steel (less durable I'm told than the US version)

JDM motor's only speak Japanese with just a little slitly bad engrish.:icon_razz

JDM vs USDM,

only one of the cams is different. Intake I believe. 440cc high impedance vs 550cc low impedance injectors, MAP based instead of MAF based, ceramic compressor wheels instead of steel..

As for the aristo motor vs Supra, the sump is different, and I THINK they use slightly different turbos, but I would have to look at the twins I have to prove that.
