Ok, sorry if this has been covered before, i've never seen anything on it and a brief search turned up nothing. I recently swapped the turbo in my car and I noticed the wastegate actuator vacuum line is tapped into two different spots on the two turbos. Is one location better than the other? Is this the 'wastegate adjustment' that supposedly explains the extra 2hp on later supras?

Turbo 1(old one off my '87, easy to see why I changed it):

Turbo 2(off my '90 parts car):

Notice how one line is tapped from the compressor outlet, and one is tapped closer to the inside of the compressor housing.

hey i figure this is kinda on topic:
on my planned set of hardpipes i was thinking of moving the wg vacuume port to the upper hardpipe right over the turbo to help spool time. do you think this would be worth it or offer any kind of worth while advantage?
