Differences between JDM & USDM 7M-GE?

I am planning a rebuild of my 7m-ge in the near future. I recently read a post about a JDM 7m-ge and I was just wondering what the differences were between the USDM and JDM so I will know which is the best platform to begin with. I did a search and counldn't find exact specs.

I know that the JDM doesn't have an EGR system.
Also I am not sure if this applies to the GE's or not but the JDM-GTE don't have a throttle linkage.

JDM 7M-GE only comes in a cressida, so you'd have to use your GE oil pan, because of fitment issues with the slump.

The JDM head can be different because of the EGR delete.
My 7MGTE JDM head was a US (or may be a universal) head with an EGR plug. But I don't know if they all are that way.

Couldn't tell you about the throttle linkage because it didn't come with one. The GTE and GE USDM throttle linkage is different though.

just be sure to buy a new oil pump too if u get the jdm , i wouldnt trust a unknown milage pump.

So I wouldn't loosing anything rebuilding a USDM 7m-ge compared to a JDM 7m-ge

JDM 7M-GE has nothing on the USDM 7M-GE AFAIK. EGR and sump differences only.
