hey my homie just told me that rota has a new type of rim that is out it is called "D2", they are almost the exact same as the ssr sp1's :aigo: they look fucking tight i will try to get pics of them :biglaugh: , but i cant wait until they come out :love: i will be first in line :biglaugh: well i wanted to let you guys know about them and i will try to get pics as soon as possible :icon_razz

Yeah? Rota has great prices on good looking "replica" rims, but will Rota make WIDE rims? Probably not. I have Rota SubZero rims, which look like Racing Hart CP035 rims, but they are 17x7.5
That's not a hell of alot of width or meat you can put on them. Now I'd definitely be willing to pay more if they had some 9-10" wide rims..

They are all 17x7.5 right now...thats it....too small for us guys...

the ROTA Slipstreasm ( Desmond Regamaster Evo replicas) now are in 17/18x8 and 8.5 widths...I almost went with them a while back...but you can only go up to 255's really on those.

they are great wheels...the sizing is just not there.

Spoons wheels are made by Desmond Regamaster, a japanese company that produces the wheels out of Russia.

The only difference in the spoon wheels is a custom offset and size, and most identifiedly the COLOR: Flat Black.

In my hyper-rev, there are many MA/JZA70/80 supra's with the Regamaster Evo ( Rota Slipstream looking) wheels, and they look VERY NICE.

But again, until ROTA comes out with a 17/18x9+ wide wheel, like the real $400 a PIECE Desmond Regamaster Evo's.......I dont think I will be buying them anytime soon.
