did i wire it wrong??

i'm rebuilding my motor this winter, so i thought i would hook up my HKS FCD
boost to 20PSI and see what happens:evil2:

i wired it up but the car now idles but runs pig rich, check engine light comes on (AFM) signal, and as soon as i tap the gas it dies.

i have the K3 FCD (with the dial) i've had it for 1.5 years now, but never had the guts to try it..
i thought these worked with an 87?????

i didnt hook up the green RPM wire.. should i have?

did you hook up BOTH afm wires of the fcd?

you are supposed to cut the afm wire..... then hook up the yellow one to the wire going into the ecu and the white wire into the wire coming from the engine bay and ultimately the afm...

on top of that did you plug the afm back in?

yup..
hooked both afm wires like you said.

i never unplugged the AFM:icon_conf
i put the dial on 3 aswell.

does the rpm wire not being hooked have anything to do with it?
i was told not to use it..
