I come from a land down under
Will: I think if you climbed a tree and swung a bit you might just get the focus a touch worse maybe ;)
(goo is just a non conductive grease so the terminals stay pristine)

Keith: You actually made me LOL here!

The goo is suppose to be there to...do...stuff. Actually, I'm not sure exactly WHY it's there...maybe to keep each piece of metal from rusting? :)

LMAO most of my early pics are with a 1.3mp camera so what's the secret? (I'm guessing peanut butter on the lens) ;)

Nah nothing to worry about at all It's just to stop any corrosion.
(well that and an indicator to early BHG as Keith pointed out)

That stuff is gross. But yeah, its supposed to be there. My Nissan has it in a few plugs near where things get wet.

If you used a flash it probably would have been fine. The photo looks dark, so there was probably a long exposure. Even a little movement from your hand will blur a photo during a longer exposure

Its a grease that helps the electric connection and it helps to water-proof the plugs. And yes I'm sure it tastes verry terrible.

Hehehe its called di-electric grease. SidewayzSupra nailed it, they use it to weatherproof and condition the connector to avoid rust and corrosion
