What does everybody use to get grease and grime off their paint? I have a shell that I want to clean the engine bay (which is filthy right now) before I swap in the motor. I'd say WD-40, but it leaves a residue. Come on folks, I know you all have your favorite degreasers that are paint safe.

simple green. Especially on grease. Spray it on then hose the grease off. I use the concentrated kind and that works amazing.

simple green is bad for plastics and rubber (will dry them out)

imagine this.....use an ACTUAL engine degreaser/detailer?!!??!

I swear you people, the cans are cheap and will clean so much better WITHOUT harming anything...

know what I use simple green for?

cleaning my tires as it removes the brown and leaves them looking like new tires without being shiney with crap on them that makes dust stick...
