My dash lights suddenly stopped working, as soon as i turn my headlights on, they do nothing and my climate control numbers turn off at the same time but are otherwise on... any help would be appreciated, i checked the fuses so thats not it

Sounds like the light control rheostat. Did you recently take the dash apart? Check that you plugged it back in, if it's plugged in, you probably need to replace it.

I should have one, I'm parting out my 87 turbo 5spd and I haven't really taken the dash out yet. If you want it I can get it to you for pretty cheap (if I can find it )
you don't have windows? which ones do you need, all mine are in good shape on the 87 (minus the windshield) and I could prolly give you a really good price on em. Plus I get a break on shipping since I have a few connections.

I have a good 87 rheostat ready to ship out right now. It was from a previous supra I owned and I thought I was going to need it the other day for a problem I was having, but my problem involved an exposed wire touching the starter and blowing my gauges fuse. Anyway, you have a PM.
i bet you fried your dimmer...all you have to do is cross wires to get them to work again...i did the same thing with similar problems...no dash lights... have you taken out your dimmer switch recently? or unpluged it? if you want to try it then pm me and ill give you the wires to cross.
