Ok, I put new gauges, nothing is pinched and they all work good. I started the car up an made sure everything worked.

Well its been a few hours since Ive been in my car (havent needed to drive at all this weekend) and I figured Id make sure everything was ok before I go to school tomorrow.

I went outside and tried starting up the car, it wants to turn over, but wouldnt. So I tried a few times and got the same result. My stepdad walks out side and wiggles the CPS and whala, cranks up like a beauty.

Now my guestion is, do I need a new CPS or is it something else Im missing here?

The wiring to our CPS is notorious for getting brittle with heat and age and causing problems, something far more common than the CPS itself going bad. If I were you I'd look into redoing the wiring for it. It's not a major operation, and it should correct the problem you're having.
