Damn Electrical Problems!

Well im not sure if everything going on with my supra is electrical. Im sure most of it is but have yet to be certain. For one, I reconnected the wires to the CPS and it still wont start. :icon_mad: It was a steady crank then a rapid crank befor... now with the wires connected again its back to a steady crank but no start. Im going to wait to get the new CPS and the new wiring harness and try that. The fuel meter also acts retarted. I fill up the tank, and it'll go to full. Then it'll drop under E then back to about a 1/4 then back down, then to a 1/4 and its finally decided to stay on E. :icon_conf Im also waiting to buy a new fuel filter for the car yet am having trouble finding the one on the car. I heard it was infront of the fuel tank and want to change it seeing as it hasn't been changed since 1987. Does anyone know where the ground for the cabin light is? Damn thing works when it wants to. I suspect a bad ground. Same with the front right parking light... I turn the head lights on and only the driver side lights... i walk up, hit the bumper where the front right parking light is and it lights up. Does anyone know if the brake light on the dash lights up because of lack of brake lights (as in no light bulbs in the socket?) Im going to buy all the tail lights today and hopefully the light will go off and i'll have brake lights now. Also the speedometer doesn't mark. How do i check if the speedometer cable is broken? I checked the connection to the tranny and all looks fine (i imagine) but wont know if it works now unless i get the car to turn on. :1zhelp: :1zhelp: :1zhelp: :1zhelp: :1zhelp:

well in regards to the brake light its not the bulbs... I put brand new bulbs all around yesterday and still no brake lights... :icon_mad: the driver side rear turn signal also doesn't turn on. Any relays or fuses for this? Id hate to have to pull the wiring for all of this and check for any cut wires. :nono:

Thanks isnms for the fuel filter page. :bigthumb: I haven't done it yet but it tells me alot. Imma wait for my paycheck and get another fuel filter for the supra. In regards to this. Since i had a 240 befor, i know that i can use the fuel filter off of a 300ZX instead of the factory 240 filter. Does anyone know if a 2J filter can be used and if it filters more (the 300 filter is bigger than the 240's hence more filtering)?

The Supra Forums link doesn't work for me. Supra Forums is being a dick recently... It doesn't let me make my own account (im using my boys) and it keeps saying:

I've tried pulling on the connectors for the dome light and nothing. Dont think i did it with them switched on tho. i'll try this tommorrow befor work. But i seriously doubt it'll work. If it doesn't work ill check the rivets. Hopefully one of these solutions will work. If not, you guys will hear from me again. :evil5:
