Hey guys just bought my first mkiii with a spun bearing (seeing a lot of posts of this problem) However looking to make a reliable daily driver around 400 whp. The previose owner has given me a set of pistons with the car Nippon racing cryo treated .020 over pistons here are the specs
FITS 89-93 7MGTE TOYOTA SUPRA TURBO MOTORS

WRIST PINS HAVE BEEN UPGRADED FROM FACTORY TO 9310 CASE HARDENED STEEL UNITS

THIS KIT COMES WITH FLOATING PINS AND NEW CLIPS

AVALABLE IN STD, .020(.5mm) and .040(1mm) Oversize

COMES WITH PERFORMANCE NIPPON RACING CHROM RINGS

THESE CHROME RINGS ARE FAR SUPERIOR TO THE FACTORY TOYOTA CAST RINGS

PISTONS AND PINS HAVE BEEN Cryogenically Treated FOR EXTRA STRENGTH

GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO EXPENSIVE FORGED UNITS

I need to know after the rotating assembly has been balanced what cylinder wall clearance should I run I plan on running between 17- 19 psi so I want to make sure there isnt any clearance issues or pre wearing issues once the car is under all the extra heat, any andvice would be great.

See if you can contact Nippon Racing, and get the piston wall clearances they recommend.

ALWAYS go with the manufacturer's recommendations. Same with the rings. If you plan on running mucho boost, I might recommend opening up the top and 2nd rings a hair, with the 2nd ring a hair bigger than the top. Helps with sealing under full load :)
