hello everyone, i bought some of CXRacings coilovers, installed them and just set the car on the ground yesterday... TOOOOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW. now just so you guys know i extended the length all the way out, and i bought these vehicle specific. with the coilovers as long as they go they're 3 inches shorter than the stock struts, the front tires were touching the plastic wheel well covers til i stiffened the springs, i haven't taken it for a ride yet but i know that the ride will be very stiff and very floaty on rough roads,

just a public announcement, unless you plan to straight up SLAM your soup, don't buy these, very road unfriendly, still trying to get the lady to talk to me, thanks for your time to read this,

zach

I don't have a lot of experience with coilovers; but, I do have a set of Zankoku's on my car. I ran into the same problem with the fronts; but, mine have a bit more adjustment than yours, it seems. My guess is that, to a degree, this is the general nature of coilovers.

With mine, my concern was whether or not there would be enough strength with them raised as high as I wanted them. So far, all is good.

Bummer.

One thing to look for when shopping for coilovers is whether or not they're rebuildable. Zankoku's were built with standard valving so they can be rebuilt at your local motorcycle repair shop.

Last I heard, most or all Megan's are NOT rebuildable.

While I have never had a set fail that I needed to send in to be rebuilt- I do have RMA forms for dampner rebuilds with Megan racing

My point exactly. ;)

I should've been more clear though. I meant that no one locally can rebuild them. I would hope that Megan Racing would be able to service a product that they put their name on. :)

If you can return them then maybe go with stock replacements (tokico, bilstein, eibach, h&r) and get some sway bars instead. It's just an idea.

i actually might, get aftermarket TEMS shocks and put lowering springs on them
