Custom widebody and back bumper project.

Its a 87 manual 7mge. Im waiting for the new year and extra cash so I decided to widen up the rear a lil and put a custom back bumper. I need a 89+ bumper for the front no supra junk yards here or any body to give one. Heres a lil progress so far.

The back bumper is from an 97 civic.
Just an early project that went to shit its a 97 civic r34 bumper

Not my cup of tea to say that least. But i can appreciate anything done with good taste, and done well.

Hopefully you take your time and it comes out well! Dont take any shortcuts!

Agreed. A bit shorter and it'll be great.
Why do you put down the duct tape first, does that allow you to remove the flare? Does FG not stick to duct tape??

If it is, then it's probably just the male piece to make the female mold off of, at least I hope so. That's how I've seen stuff like this be done before. Fit things with styrafoam or whatever, cover it with bondo and get it to take the right shape. Then make female fiberglass mold. Then use mold to make male piece that will go on car.
