Custom one off CNC underdrive pulley

My buddy Erik and Joel just finished making a one off water pump pulley for my Supra.

I had the unorthodox pulley set but wanted to have something of better quality.

Differences are: Counterbored holes for the 8mm socket head cap screws, and engraved it "S E V E N M". No more 'Hey, is that a 2J?' crap. The surface finish will be modified to a satin look, as I'm starting to tone down the 'bling' on my car.

That's looks pretty sweet to me duane. If you tone down your engine, it'll be just as cool. Reminds me of a muscle car, the engine isn't always bling, but you know the power is there if you just look at the parts.

That looks awsome. Do you think he'll make it for the community if there is enough interest. I know I'd like one. Great bob, I can't wait to see your new setup.

One off for now but I would have to order them personally which would require a group buy. This is a hook up as my buddy Erik works there. ;)

Alt pulley will also be made soon :naughty:

Not massively toned down but to give a little more contrast to the bay is what I meant.

pure hotness...makes me want to bust out the calipers and get ahold of some of my friends :D

Wish it was that easy. 4 1/2 hours of programming on the lathe, and 4 1/2 hours programming on the ES. (both including machining of course ) :aigo:

I plan on having other parts made soon enough. This shop is very busy and is sometimes hard to get machine time.

Just a thought, but combine your underdrive water pump pulley with a overdrive (Smaller than stock diameter) pulley for the alternator would be very nice. (Slightly smaller, say about 5 to 10% at the most. I think most of us would like more amps at idle or other low engine speeds if we could get it.) Most of us have electronics that soak up the power.

Besides, if done right, the changes to each might still allow the use of a stock belt size? (Not that using a shorter or longer belt would preclude me from buying a set.)

Very nice work BTW. (Your machinist friend is the same guy I met in Portland this summer right? The guy who machined your stock bell crank with the tone ring? Also nice work.)

You guys should offer all three as a set. (Core charge for the bell crank/dampner's of course.) Possibly a billet sensor mount too... LOL (Just wishfull thinking here.)

Was it done on MasterCAM?
