i don't believe some of that info, he's talking about flowing 15psi on a celica motor, thats only 2/3rds the CFM it takes to maintain 15psi on a 7m... 2/3rds displacement 2/3rds CFM, yadda i feel?
A 3s-gte can make alot of power. I seen videos of one killing a 500hp skyline. I've had alot of celicas and the 3s motors can take a beating. I had a 3s-gt and I could hold it a red line for like five minutes!!!!! I did this alot after I killed the tranny and the car was going to be later sold as parts.
I said that it was about a celica in my first post i just thought you guys would like to expand your mind a little.Besides theres some good equations to match a turbo to your motor/goals too.

read the expert turbo tech at the garret website (link above) it really changed my idea about turbos
I liked it, it was a good write up and being a lover of all turbo toyota's I enjoyed the knowledge. BTW stock MR-2 Turbo can smoke the MK4 TT Supra, so hahaha 3s-gte power.
Im laughing my arse off already. The turbo in the pictures is built backwards. The turbine is in the compressor housing LOL!
But for the most part (just glancing) it seems the guy has some good info... interesting how they found out what a stock ct26 will spin to when the wastegate hose is unhooked.

Glad to see some of you enjoyed it and yeah the 3sgte is a power plant my buddys mr2 is fast and hes pushin 370 whp on the stock internals with a turbo kit and a tune.
