stock boost runs quick... not BS quick but Owns rexy's so far

ok to my question i have ceramic ct-26's i do eventualy want to upgrade my huffers

1--- do i upgrade to complete new twins 28's or something
2--- do i have my current huffers reflowed from 26's to say 30 or 40 (will the housing take a bigfan?)
3--- I AINT GOING SINGLE....

ok here it is on the number 1 setup i will get more lag correct?

and for 2 will this have the same effect? and will it generate more heat then what i want?

and as for 3 BAH BAHAAAAHAA no way i'd buy a nissan for a single LOL
(not that i hate them my mate's 32gtr 35/40 hp= lots in my workshop cool car)

i am wanting to still run twins in sequential and about stock boost (can someone let me know this) i assume it's about 7psi???

You don't have twin CT26's just so you know. But, what I would do is get a set of USDM stock 2jz twin's if you don't want lag. Plus they bolt right up and you could get a set for a couple hundred bucks.

I believe that they are CT12B's with the ceramic turbines. I'm not too knowledgeable (sp?) about the 2jz's. But, you're best bet would be to get the USDM twins like I said and it is bolt on if I remember correctly.

Talk to this guy...adziech@fuse.net. Name is Aaron, super cool guy, he upgrades 12b compressor wheels to T3 60 trim wheels. Stu Hagen printed 530 RWHP with cams and a ported head with those turbos. I've got them on my 1J, will see what it makes on low boost when I get the car tuned next week.

How much do they cost and how'd you fit them on the 1j?

I hope this isn't violating the rules, but I think he charges in the nieghborhood of $1000, but he'll work with you if you send him good re-useable cores. Fitting them to the 1J...Well first off you need two front USDM 12b turbo's and I believe the front turbo that will be on the rear will need it's wastegate arm cut and welded. You'll have to make a Y-pipe...there is no available Y-pipe that will work, it will have to be custom made, as will the D/P unless you make your Y-pipe to work with an available D/P. My Y and DP are both custom, as is my exhaust. Umm...Both turbo's need be drilled and tapped to work with the 1JZ manifolds. You'll need all the piping for 2JZ stock twins, but not the vacuum lines, since you'll be running them in "true-twin" mode. Trying to think what else...I'm sure others can chime in, and I'm looking now for write-up's.

I got lucky and bought a set, that was already setup for a 1JZ, if I were to ever do it again, I'd go a different route, stock twins, be it for a 1JZ, or 2JZ, are a huge PITA to work on. But, this should satisfy my hunger for power, for a while anyway.

HTH,
