I want to start by saying i am in no way bashing SUPRA SPORT. I just received my ct26 turbo softline kit damn they look good but install is not as easy as you would think.
Not many cons but ill start there:
1. Cannot use factory studs on turbo, flange does not slide over, and the nuts will hit fittings if it would. Pre-purchase set screws, allen or small head diameter bolts, it will work.
2. Turbo supply line fitting on turbo flange, needs to be bent slightly back, away from manifold flange, atleast i had to.
3. Turbo supply port is a dramatic decrease in size over stock, may cause issues if not bored slightly. Was about the size of a ball point pen tip.
4. Turbo return line to block is a tight fit, cannot have turbo mounted to manifold to connect need to pull turbo back towards strut tower inorder to get threads lined up properly.
And now the pros:
1. Very clean design from stock
2. much easier to get a good seal on turbo, no leaks anymore
3. Welds are very well done along with line crimping.
.....All in all i do believe it was worth the 160 i spent. I am more trusting in this set up than the others where YOU make sure the lines seal on the adapters. Just wish it would have been more of direct bolt on, and was supplied with new bolts for turbo side flange.
