I have been looking for the last couple days for parts for the 26. specifically the 57 trim compressor housing. So my question is is there any where that sells the housing bored out or do I have to get a local machine shop do it for me?
Thanks Dustin.

Ive only seen larger housings on Ebay, like 61 or even 67 housings.
I just think that the upgrade(all of it) should be done by one person at one time, with all the parts, rather than piecework.

Yeah I was just trying to keep the cost down I got a guy putting it together and he has a place he ships them to, to get them balanced. I was looking at the 57. Trying to keep it reliable but with a little more bang.

Boring out the Housing, isnt just that. its not a "bore" its an entire new profile for the new wheel. Not only do you have to have the housing machined for the profile for the 57trim wheel, the back side of the wheel it self has to be machined of the profile of the stock wheel, and then reemed to shaft size. On top of that the center housing has to be machined bigger to accept the larger exducer of the 57 trim wheel. a lot of machining, and time goes into these, and if the wheel isnt perfectly machined, youre just asking for trouble.

The price fore a machined 57 trim housing, wheel, and center housing would be like $400, migh as well pay the extra to get it balanced, cleaned, rebuilt at the same time.

fork the $ over and avoid "upgraded" CT anything.

I have yet to see one survive long term. They ALL grenade in short order.

id beg to differ.

you can.

I have yet to see one get to 40k mile much less 70k. That is long term as that is what the CT usually last in OEM form.

I like my Boss Jr. They are no longer in production. The smaller JT series should be similar.
